The Examination Section, headed by the Controller of Examinations, was established following the conferment of autonomous status to the college in 2024. The Controller of Examinations is appointed by the Director as per the UGC specifications and is assisted by the Deputy Controller of Examination and other staff for conducting the examinations and publishing the results in time. The Examination Section is mainly responsible for the Conduct of various examinations, valuation of answer scripts and publication of results and Certificates.
To ensure the smooth functioning of all processes handled by the Examination Section—critical to the overall operations of the institute—a comprehensive manual titled “Examination Rules and Regulations” has been compiled. This manual outlines all relevant rules, regulations, and procedures in detail, serving as a valuable reference guide and helping to address any queries or uncertainties that may arise.
The Examination Section recognizes the need for continuous reform in the traditional examination and assessment systems. With a commitment to credibility, validity, effectiveness, and transparency, we are dedicated to developing an evaluation framework that meets the evolving academic and professional demands of the modern world.
To support this vision, we are actively integrating technology to streamline processes and enhance communication. Key initiatives include:
1) Online Examination Registration
Implementation of an online registration system to generate student summaries, name lists, and admit cards—reducing manual errors and improving efficiency.
2) Faculty and Staff Orientation
Regular training and orientation sessions for faculty and non-teaching staff to ensure smooth and standardized conduct of examinations.
3) Student Support and Grievance Redressal
Strengthening systems to provide timely assistance and resolution of student queries and concerns related to examinations.
4) University Coordination
Close collaboration with the Savitribai Phule Pune university to maintain the credibility, consistency, and integrity of the examination process.
5) Continuous Improvement and Reform
Formulating, monitoring, and implementing best practices in examination management, with a focus on ongoing reform to align with academic advancements and institutional needs.
